Bridges Youth Ops has an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their career in technology. We work with industry leaders in technology services and consulting, who will provide you with a great opportunity to get immediate training and work experience. Pre-apprenticeship opportunities may be either unpaid or paid.
Selected applicants will go through a training program that teaches them the skills necessary to become a Customer Support Specialist. Customer Support Specialists provide solutions to internal and external customers’ needs by handling complaints and comments. Their goal is to provide positive customer experiences by enhancing relationships between the customer and the company.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 16+ years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled)
- Ability to operate a computer and telephone system while seated for extended periods of time
- An openness and willingness to learn new technologies
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Great ability to communicate clearly and professionally on the phone and on the job.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times.
- Working knowledge of office equipment, such as computers, printers, and fax machines
Responsibilities
- Answer/screen telephone calls when needed; send out communications on behalf of General Management and Corporate office.
- Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
- Performs administrative and office support activities
