Bridges Youth Ops has an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance their career in technology. We work with industry leaders in technology services and consulting, who will provide you with a great opportunity to get immediate training and work experience.

Selected applicants will go through a paid training program that teaches them the skills necessary to become an IT Support Specialist. IT Support Specialists provides solutions to internal and external customers’ needs by providing computer workstation and mobile device expertise including hardware and software installation, service, incident troubleshooting and support.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in English
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder)
• Must possess a clean criminal background

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

•  Experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role appreciated but not required.
• Preferred: 1+ years of IT experience preferred but not required, we train!
• An openness to learn new technologies
• Working knowledge of office computer systems, hardware, and software databases, and/or remote control.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products appreciated but not required
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
• Great communication skills, experience working directly with customers and clients
• Ability to thrive in a remote learning environment

Responsibility

• Install and maintain computer hardware, clients, laptops, audio/visual equipment and peripherals.  Routine administration including data backups.
•  Software installation, maintenance and upgrading in line with the school development policy.
• Maintain up-to-date workstations, administration, and maintenance of Internet, Intranet, Office software, and Email systems.
